Introducing Wines of Central

CWU graduates are involved in every aspect of Washington's burgeoning
wine industry. Wines of Central is an opportunity for Central alumni
to sample wines with a CWU connection, often at special prices.

Each year the CWU Alumni Association selects a wine with a CWU connection to be Wildcat Reserve. This year we’re featuring malbec,
which is quickly establishing itself as a significant new varietal in the Pacific Northwest. We tasted several and were especially impressed with the
2006 vintage from Gamache Vintners in Richland, which produced our
sold-out 2008 cabernet sauvignon. We think it’s the perfect introduction to a complex and fascinating wine.
